Recycling Department
The Recycling Department staff is responsible for operating both the statewide municipal recycling education and technical services program and the Materials Recycling Facility (MRF). The Recycling department is also responsible for facility tours, public education about recycling and waste prevention, composting education, e-waste and household hazardous waste programming, processing and marketing recyclables, and providing technical program assistance to Rhode Island municipalities, institutions, and businesses.
