Resource Recovery, 65 Shun Pike Do you have an old (but functioning) dehumidifier collecting dust? National Grid, in collaboration with Resource Recovery, is offering National Grid customers a $30 rebate for turning in a dehumidifier for recycling! Residents who participate will receive a $30 recycling incentive rebate, a $30 mail-in rebate towards a new energy-efficient dehumidifier and National Grid will cover the cost of disposal. Residents dropping off dehumidifiers must have ID for proof of residency and must complete a rebate form to receive the money. Turn-in is limited to 2 units per Rhode Island household.

Resource Recovery to Launch Recycle Across America’s® Let’s Recycle Right! PSA Campaign

JOHNSTON, RI—Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation (Resource Recovery) and Recycle Across America (RAA) are once again joining forces to promote proper recycling.  Last Earth Day, Rhode Island became the first state in the nation to adopt standardized recycling bin labels from RAA. Today, on the heels of that anniversary, Resource Recovery will be recognized by ­­­Recycle Across America at an EPIC “Let’s recycle RIght!” celebration at the Providence Public Library.
