Cardboard rolls from paper products see related

Recycle in Your Bin or Cart.

Though these are made of recyclable paper, some may be too small to be accurately captured and recycled through our current sorting process. To make sure they are recycled, cut or tear open and flatten out to ensure they are larger than 3" x 5".  It is best to place paper pieces that are smaller than a 3” x 5” index card in the trash.

This item follows the basic rule for fiber recycling in your bin/cart (it’s paper, cardboard, or a carton). Paper and cardboard must be flat. Cartons must be empty at a minimum, but rinsed whenever possible. Plastic caps (on cartons) can go back onto their plastic spouts.
